This sandwich plate has a sender hole and has no boss for a bracket. These were fitted from 1996on standard MPIs, however JDM MPI models w/ AC still use PEG10002. It is common for these to corrode or crack. The thermostat sits ABOVE the sandwich plate (Hence the recess). Make sure you get two new gaskets!
