Replacement thermostat housing for all JDM cars and late SPI Automatics. This oddball housing was fitted to aid with clearance of the upper hose, and was fitted to most JDM cars with air conditioning, as well as some late SPI automatics without A/C. It was used on all JDM MPIs until the end of production.
