Tapered thread sump plug for Minis with manual gearbox. If your Mini's gearbox is stripped from someone over tightening the sump plug this may be a quick fix. This sump plug is oversized and has tapered threads that will seal better as it gets tighter.  We recommend applying a thread sealant and working the plug as you would a tap. No washer is necessary as this plug will not seat all the way.
 
Not for automatics. Be very careful not to overtighten as it will crack your gearbox case.
