Genuine British Heritage replacement front subframe for later 1275cc 1990-1996 manual Minis. To clear the HIF44 carburetor and later the SPI injection manifold, the engine mounting positions were moved forward about half an inch. This can also be used for 998cc models but will require a longer steady bar. If your subframe is very rusty or damaged, it must be replaced. The Minis front subframe is responsible for handling all of the structural integrity and stabilisation of the Minis entire running gear. This subframe comes fully black e-coated for maximum rust resistance and durability.
