This competition oil pickup is designed to prevent the aeration of oil in hard turns by relocating the pickup strainer to a more centered position in the gearbox. The factory strainer is located on the far RH side of the gearbox, so in hard manuevers oil slosh can render the pickup stainer dry for a moment. This can kill an engine very fast!
 
This pickup is a direct replacement for the factory unit, but will require partial gearbox disassembly to fit. Confirm that the crankshaft does not interfere with the pickup tube!
